Hessian Coffees Triple Certified 100% arabica beans. Roasted with a taste profile of delicate glowing spice and lasting chocolate in the finish. Full of energy and sparkle.

Our FairTrade Organic espresso originates from Peru, where it is grown and carefully cultivated to create a delicious and sustainable coffee experience. SHB or Strictly Hard Bean, which can also be referred to as SHG or Strictly High Grown, is a term used to describe coffee that is grown at elevations above 1,200 meters above sea level. This type of coffee is typically denser and of higher quality compared to the HB or Hard Bean classification.

One of the few countries that offer triple certified coffees from a diverse range of farms is Peru. At our company, we select coffee based on its cup profile and have purchased from cooperatives such as the Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera Jose Olaya, also known as CAC Jose Olaya. This cooperative comprises of 271 families growing coffee and cocoa on roughly 5000 acres of land situated between 900 to 1800 meters above sea level in the Quellouno district of Cusco, southern Peru. Established in 1966, they produce Typica, Bourbon, and Catimor varieties.

Another cooperative we purchase from is the Asociación de Productores Integral y Sostenible de Amazonas (APRYSA), located in the Amazonas region of northern Peru. This region is famous for its dense cloud forests, rugged Andes mountain terrain, and ancient ruins. The cooperative is based in the Rodriguez de Mendoza Province, which lies southeast of the Amazonas province and has fertile soil due to its favorable microclimate. As a result, the cooperative has a longer normal harvest period.
